NTT Electronics And Dimetis Partner Together For Network Management System Integration
DIETZENBACH, Germany, Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dimetis (www.dimetis.com), a leading software supplier providing Operations Support System (OSS) solutions, today announced that it has entered into an integration partnership with NTT Electronics (NEL).
Dimetis and NEL are working together to integrate NEL's HVE9210, HVE9230 and other encoders/decoders (codecs) into Dimetis' Network Management System (NMS) called BOSS LINK Manager®. NEL develops state-of-the-art video codecs that are very low latency and high efficiency. The integration goal is to provide users of the Dimetis BOSS LINK Manager a comprehensive integrated view of the network and metrics, and operational visibility of the codecs. In addition to this integration effort, both companies will be cross-marketing to each other's customers and distributors.

In addition, it will enable historical views of network performance by the Media Delivery Index (MDI) showing latency vs. jitter resilience, and more.
