WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., May 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JMPR Public Relations has announced that it has been appointed as the agency of record for Stack's Bowers Galleries, the preeminent numismatic auction and retail company that serves collectors, dealers, investors and museums around the world.  JMPR will be responsible for overseeing media outreach to expand awareness of the company on both a national and regional level beyond the coin collecting world.

JMPR will utilize its extensive auction house and lifestyle industry experience, as well as its relationships within the business and numismatics media to further strengthen Stack's Bowers relationships and raise brand awareness.  JMPR will also work on media activities and outreach programs to promote Stack's Bowers and increase awareness of numismatics for new consumers, curious youth, as well as keeping long-standing collectors informed of upcoming events.

Stack's Bowers past track record includes the cataloging and sale of many of the most valuable coin and paper money collections to ever cross the auction block. Topping off their amazing numismatic history is the inclusion of the 2013 world record for the highest price ever realized at auction for a rare coin: the Cardinal Collection 1794 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar that realized more than $10 million. Stack's Bowers Galleries is the Official Auctioneer for several important numismatic conventions, including the 2013 ANA World's Fair of Money, the 2013 ANA National Money Show, and the Whitman Coin and Collectibles Baltimore Expo, three times yearly.  Additionally, it holds semi-annual auctions in Hong Kong and specialized events worldwide.

"Stack's Bowers staff is passionate about rare coins and paper money and share their enthusiasm by providing collectors an experience they don't forget," said JMPR President, Joseph Molina. "As a brand-new numismatics enthusiast myself, I am excited to help tell Stack's Bowers' story and attract a broader audience to this world of collecting."
