Nuvo Pharmaceuticals™ (Ireland) DAC Enters into Resultz® License and Supply Agreement with Heumann Pharma GmbH & Co. Generica KG for Germany

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Nuvo Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nuvo or the Company) (TSX:NRI; OTCQX:NRIFF), a globally focused, healthcare company with a portfolio of commercial products and pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Nuvo Pharmaceuticals (Ireland) DAC (Nuvo Ireland) has entered into a license and supply agreement (License Agreement) with Heumann Pharma GmbH & Co. Generica KG (Heumann) for the exclusive right to distribute, market and sell Resultz^® in Germany (the Territory).  Heumann is headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany, and is part of the Torrent Pharma Group which has an international presence across 40 countries.  Heumann is a large, well-established pharmaceutical company with a long history and a wide range of prescription and over-the-counter medicines.

License Agreement Details
The License Agreement grants Heumann the exclusive rights to market, sell and distribute Resultz in the Territory. Resultz is approved in Germany as a class one medical device for the human treatment of head lice infestation.  Nuvo Ireland will receive upfront consideration, milestone payments, royalties on net sales of Resultz in the Territory and will earn revenue from Heumann pursuant to an exclusive supply agreement.  Resultz is currently manufactured by the Company's contract manufacturing partner in Belgium.
