KIOTO, Japón, 17 de abril de 2026  /PRNewswire/ -- Nuvoton Technology Corporation Japan (en adelante, "NTCJ") anunció el 15 de abril que comenzará la producción en masa de un diodo láser violeta de alta potencia (402 nm, 4,5 W) que ofrece una salida óptica líder en la industria (*1) en un encapsulado CAN (TO-9) de 9,0 mm de diámetro en mayo. Este producto logra una salida óptica 1,5 veces superior a la del producto convencional de NTCJ (*2) gracias a su estructura de dispositivo patentada y su tecnología de diseño de disipación de calor, y contribuye a mejorar el rendimiento de producción en equipos ópticos como los sistemas de litografía sin máscara. Además, la incorporación de este producto a la gama de NTCJ permite que su cartera de productos sea compatible con los principales materiales fotosensibles utilizados en el encapsulado avanzado de semiconductores.

Los diodos láser violetas de 402 nm suelen presentar una eficiencia energética relativamente baja (WPE), autocalentamiento y degradación inducida por longitudes de onda cortas, lo que limita su funcionamiento estable a alta potencia. Para abordar estos desafíos, "la estructura del dispositivo que mejora la WPE" y "la tecnología de encapsulado de alta conductividad térmica que disipa el calor de manera efectiva", utilizadas en el diodo láser ultravioleta de alta potencia anunciado en enero de 2026, se extendieron a la banda violeta. Como resultado, NTCJ lanza un diodo láser violeta de alta potencia que alcanza 1,5 veces la potencia óptica del producto convencional de NTCJ, con una vida útil mejorada a alta potencia y una disipación de calor optimizada, lo que contribuye a un mayor rendimiento de producción en equipos ópticos industriales.

Este producto ofrece un valor significativo en la litografía sin máscara para el empaquetado avanzado de semiconductores, un mercado en rápido crecimiento impulsado por la demanda de IA. La litografía sin máscara expone directamente los patrones de cableado a partir de los datos de diseño, lo que reduce el coste y el tiempo de desarrollo, al tiempo que permite una corrección de alta precisión de la deformación y distorsión del sustrato. Los diodos láser requieren soportar cada vez más longitudes de onda cercanas a las de la línea i de la lámpara de mercurio (365 nm) y la línea h (405 nm), así como una mayor potencia óptica para mejorar el rendimiento. Tras el diodo láser ultravioleta de alta potencia de 379 nm y 1,0 W para aplicaciones de línea i, anunciado en enero de 2026, NTCJ añade un diodo láser violeta de alta potencia de 402 nm y 4,5 W para aplicaciones de línea h, reforzando así su gama de fuentes de luz para litografía sin máscara y permitiendo la compatibilidad con múltiples materiales fotosensibles importantes y un mayor rendimiento.

Además, este producto amplía la gama de alternativas de NTCJ basadas en láseres semiconductores a las lámparas de mercurio, ofreciendo una nueva opción de fuente de luz de línea h para fotocurado, impresión 3D, detección, aplicaciones biomédicas y marcado. Esto contribuye a mejorar la eficiencia de los procesos y a posibilitar nuevas aplicaciones ópticas.
