
NY Times Best-Seller Howard Wasdin to Speak at 2011 CCA Convention
"SEAL Team Six" Author Shares Harrowing Tale of Battle and His Transition to Career as Chiropractor
DENVER, Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Colorado Chiropractic Association (CCA) today announced that New York Times best-selling author Dr. Howard Wasdin is scheduled to speak at its Annual Convention September 8-10, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency in the Denver Tech Center. Dr. Wasdin is a former Navy SEAL Team Six member and co-author of "SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper."
After being shot multiple times in the battle of Mogadishu in 1993, Dr. Wasdin received chiropractic adjustments to alleviate severe neck pain, which cured his insomnia and changed his life. Upon military discharge, he attended chiropractic school to find satisfaction in a career that helps people live free of pain. Dr. Wasdin is currently a practicing chiropractor in Jesup, Georgia.
