Oak Hill Capital Announces Promotions

NEW YORK, Jan. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Oak Hill Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm, is pleased to announce the following promotions across its investor relations and private equity investment teams. Andy Burdick has been promoted to Partner, Jake Shulman has been promoted to Vice President, and Adam Hahn and Jeff Mettam have been promoted to Principal.

Andy Burdick was promoted to Partner. Andy joined Oak Hill in 2016 as a Managing Director, and Head of Marketing and Investor Relations. In the last three years, Andy has been instrumental in driving the fundraising efforts for OHCP IV, and more recently for OHCP V. Prior to Oak Hill, Andy was a Partner and Head of Investor Relations and Business Development at Amici Capital, a Managing Director at Shumway Capital Partners, and a Director at Credit Suisse Group in the Equities Division. Andy earned an A.B. degree at Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jake Shulman was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Investor Relations. Jake joined Oak Hill in 2018 as an Associate and he has played an integral role in our current OHCP V fundraise. Prior to Oak Hill, Jake was an Associate on the Investor Relations team at Energy Capital Partners. Jake earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Adam Hahn was promoted to Principal. Adam joined Oak Hill in 2010 as an Associate, and works in the firm's Media & Communications and Services groups. Prior to joining Oak Hill, he was a member of the M&A group at Barclays Capital PLC. Adam earned an A.B. degree, cum laude, from Harvard University. Recently, Adam helped with OHCP IV's sale of FirstLight Fiber, a leading provider of fiber-optic bandwidth infrastructure services in the Northeast.

Jeff Mettam was promoted to Principal. Jeff joined Oak Hill in 2009 as an Associate, and works in the firm's Industrials group. Prior to Oak Hill, he was a member of the investment banking group at Merrill Lynch & Co. Jeff earned a B.S., summa cum laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an M.B.A., with distinction, from Harvard Business School. Recently, Jeff played an essential role in Oak Hill's recapitalization of Berlin Packaging L.L.C. ("Berlin").
