Oasis Children's Services Announces Six New Summer Camps to Open Summer 2011
Kid and Teen Camps Now Available in NY, L.I., NJ, MA, NH, MD with More Planned
NEW YORK, Dec. 7, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Oasis Children's Services believes that summer experiences play a critical role in the lives of children. For 10 years, Oasis has brought high-quality summer day camp programs directly to families in New York and New Jersey, and has expanded its 2011 summer camps to serve children at two new locations in Massachusetts, one each in New Hampshire and Maryland, as well as additional locations in New York and New Jersey.
Oasis Children's Services provides children with a summer camp experience filled with traditional arts and recreational activities that allows children to be challenged while building friendships, and to embrace new experiences and to learn new skills.
"Many outside pressures tug at children and teens today," said Bernie Tessler, CEO of Oasis Children's Services. "Oasis Summer Camps provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for youth, and we are excited to expand our unique camp experience to families in six new locations and in three additional states."
Oasis is flexible around families' summer schedules. Campers may enroll for a minimum of two consecutive weeks, a maximum of eight weeks, or a combination of weeks.
Camps are staffed by well-trained counselors who are accomplished educators, teachers, youth development and after school program leaders, and college students.
Additional Oasis Camp locations are anticipated for 2011. Oasis conforms to the rigid standards of The American Camp Association (ACA) and has earned approval, a two-year process, on most sites. A testament to the quality summer camps run by Oasis, just 20% of all camps in the United States are granted ACA approval.
