Oatey Acquires Assets of Hercules Chemical Company

CLEVELAND, Jan. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Oatey Co., a leader in the plumbing industry since 1916, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, HCC Holdings Inc., has completed the acquisition of certain assets of the Hercules Chemical Company.  Hercules, which was started in 1915, is a leading manufacturer of a broad line of products for sale to wholesale and retail suppliers primarily in the plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical trades. Oatey SCS, an affiliate of Oatey, has been the exclusive distributor of Hercules' products since 2001.
