OccuNomix Recognized for Banning Polyester Treated "FR" High Visibility Garments From Their Work Apparel Line

OccuNomix continues to urge all distributors and consumers to confirm that all high visibility garment components and layers (including interior layers of winter liners) are truly flame resistant by verifying that the flame resistant product meets the new FR standards; specifically, NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, NFPA 1971 and NFPA 1975 among others (ANSI 107 and CSA Z96 both contain lists of the appropriate standards.)  

Consumers are advised that NFPA 701 may appear as a clothing standard but in fact is a drapery standard and not to be used to determine flammability on clothing of any type.
