INDIANAPOLIS, July 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Octiv (formerly TinderBox), a leading provider of sales productivity solutions, announced today that marketing expert and industry veteran Brad Gillespie has joined the company as chief marketing officer.
Gillespie has spent the past 20 years in the B2B sales and marketing ecosystem. In his role with Octiv, he will lead the marketing function as the company enters its next phase of growth.
"Brad has developed a deep understanding of the sales SaaS ecosystem, which makes his move to Octiv a significant one," said Dustin Sapp, Octiv co-founder and chief executive officer. "His experience building marketing teams for fast-growth companies will help us capitalize on the large market opportunity in front of us. We're grateful and excited he has joined our growing team."
Prior to joining Octiv, Gillespie led global marketing and events for the research and advisory firm SiriusDecisions. SiriusDecisions is recognized as the global market leader serving sales, marketing and product leaders in B2B industries. In his more than four years with the company, its core advisory business grew by more than 250 percent, and its events business grew nearly 300 percent. Gillespie serves as an advisor to Maritz Global Travel and Terminus, a provider of SaaS Account-Based Marketing software.
"The Octiv platform is addressing a mission-critical need for both sales and marketing organizations," said Gillespie. "Sales leaders are being asked to drive productivity in a measurable way. Marketing leaders are also being held accountable for measurable impact on growth objectives. And both functions are placing more emphasis on creating and enabling a positive buying experience for customers. These teams need better tools to streamline workflows that impact both sales effectiveness and efficiency, and Octiv fills a clear void in the technology stack."
Gillespie's appointment follows the news of Octiv's new brand identity and recent announcement to expand its Indianapolis headquarters. The brand update reflects the company's evolution to an integrated platform for sales and marketing teams to improve process workflows for creating sales documents and assets.
Octiv provides a sales productivity platform designed to create efficiencies in process workflows for creating and managing documents and assets like sales presentations, quotes, proposals and contracts.
