To get a jump-start on Black Friday, OfficeMax is launching a fun new way for consumers to be reminded about the shopping festivities by signing up to receive a Wake-Up Call from one of OfficeMax's beloved elves. Shoppers simply text WAKEUP to 30364 to request the call, respond to the text message with their desired call time and time zone(1). Participants are also given the opportunity to share the Wake-Up Call with friends and coworkers. Once signed up, shoppers will receive an early morning call on Black Friday from a funny OfficeMax elf reminding them to rise and shine and get a head start on shopping! The Wake-Up Call will be communicated to customers by circulars, OfficeMax.com and social media.

During its three-day Black Friday sale, OfficeMax will reward shoppers at its retail locations with a special flier for future holiday promotions on products ranging from accessories to PCs, digital cameras and printers. For online orders, OfficeMax is offering free shipping on most orders totaling $50 or more. OfficeMax has also teamed up with Quiznos to offer busy shoppers a discount on a much needed lunch break during the holiday shopping extravaganza delivering either  20 percent off a Quiznos catering order or $2 off a regular or large sub with any in-store OfficeMax purchase(2).
