Ogilvy & Mather North America Doubles Its Cannes Performance Year On Year

Announcement comes on the heels of being declared the most effective network in North America by the Effies

NEW YORK, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ogilvy & Mather offices in New York and Chicago left the 2013 Cannes International Festival of Creativity with a record Eight Lions. They were awarded One Gold, One Silver, and Five Bronze Lions, doubling the agency's North American total wins from 2012.

The Gold Lion was awarded in the prestigious Branded Content & Entertainment category for O&M New York's 'A Boy and His Atom' work for IBM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSCX78-8-q0). O&M North America also saw a significant improvement in Cannes Shortlists this year with 16, from three offices for six clients, a sharp jump from 2012 and 2011 results.

The day before the Cannes finale, O&M was named the Most Effective Agency Network by the global Effie Effectiveness Index. This announcement comes one month after O&M North America was named the Most Effective Advertising Agency Network in North America and O&M New York was named the Most Effective Individual Agency Office in the region.
