Ohio AutoGas Market Takes Off with Alliance AutoGas' Announcement of New Cleveland and Cincinnati-based Partners
ASHEVILLE, N.C., Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance AutoGas has augmented its Ohio operations with the addition of two new regional partners – a certified conversion center and propane AutoGas fuel provider. Auxier Gas and Xtreme Performance of the Greater Cincinnati and Cleveland areas, respectively, represent significant growth for Alliance's presence in the Midwest. Alliance offers America's fleets a turn-key alternative fuel solution of vehicle conversion, on-site fueling and safety training coupled with technical support.
With over 60 years of experience in the propane industry, family-owned Auxier Gas will bring AutoGas fueling to Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Established in 1948, President Doug Auxier runs his father's propane business with the same guiding principles on which the company has always prided itself: ensuring their customers receive top-tier service and offering competitive and affordable products.
Auxier is already a trusted partner to thousands of households in the tri-state area and looks forward to growing their portfolio of services. "We consider Alliance AutoGas to be the premier organization driving development of the AutoGas market," says Auxier. "We are excited to be a part of pioneering the AutoGas engine fuel market that will not only grow the U.S. propane industry, but will also benefit our environment and our economy."
This expansion of Alliance's partner network is indicative of the group's commitment to increasing AutoGas availability throughout the country. "Alliance AutoGas is wholly committed to strengthening the national AutoGas fueling infrastructure through collaboration with our nation's fleets," says Stuart Weidie, president of Alliance AutoGas. "Working with fleets fosters balanced market growth, where AutoGas consumption and fueling infrastructure grow in tandem, and our new partners will help us realize this goal in Ohio."
Complementing Auxier's AutoGas fueling expertise, Xtreme Performance will provide certified AutoGas vehicle conversions for Ohio's fleets. With fourteen service bays and 13,000 square feet, Xtreme's cutting-edge vehicle engineering and aftermarket up-fitting facility boasts a team of first-class ASE certified master technicians.
Thirty-year automotive industry veteran and Xtreme Performance owner Steve Ali and his team are dedicated to excellent service and innovative technologies. Ali believes building trust is critical to maintaining a loyal customer base, an attitude he applies daily through his hands-on approach to business. Ali spends much of his time working alongside his crew on the vehicles in his shop; his passion for the industry carries through to projects he'll take on with Alliance AutoGas partners.
"We are eager to expand our service offerings and extend our commitment to excellence as an Alliance AutoGas partner," says Ali. "The state of Ohio and the Greater Cleveland area are eager to see state-level progress in clean-burning alternative fuel technologies and the use of domestic fuels."
Ali sees the push for green technology as part of his duty to the community as a business leader. He reinforces his commitment to community through sponsorship of local sports teams and board membership within organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, and the Ohio Technical College Alumni Board.
Alliance AutoGas, together with Auxier Gas and Xtreme Performance, will immediately begin contacting Ohio fleets to share the benefits of AutoGas.
Alliance AutoGas is a member of area environmental agency Clean Fuels Ohio and has worked with the organization to implement grant-funded programs for several Ohio-based taxi companies.
