Ohio-Based Corna Kokosing Construction Company Increases its Footprint in the Midwest
The 60-year old company adds new Indianapolis office
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Corna Kokosing, an Ohio-based construction manager/general contracting company, has recently opened a full-service office in Indianapolis to be closer to the firm's growing client base.
"For Corna Kokosing, expanding into Indianapolis was a natural evolution of our business," says Corna Kokosing President Josh Corna.
"We have been working throughout the Midwest for years, we have many existing clients in and around Indianapolis, and we recently started work on two projects in the greater Indianapolis area for NexCore Group." Corna indicates that other projects are in the planning stages.
Regional Manager David Rossi will run the Indianapolis office. Rossi's experience includes healthcare, education, and industrial projects for Corna Kokosing. Rossi indicates the company is currently recruiting for three new positions and will be looking to partner with local subcontractors.
Also, Corna Kokosing has a long-standing relationship with Purdue University. "In addition to serving on their Construction Advisory Council, the company has many long-tenured associates who graduated from the University," says Rossi. Also, the new office will sponsor one Purdue student intern for the summer.
