Ohio Becomes Latest Energy Market to Benefit from Innovative Technology and Automatic Energy Savings Offered by Utiliz
NORWALK, Conn., Oct. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Utiliz, a technology platform offering automatic energy savings, gained approval Wednesday to enter the Ohio market, where it can now provide consumers a simple way to save money on their energy supply. The platform tracks the energy market on behalf of consumers in deregulated states, automatically switching each customer to a cost-effective plan at the end of every term.
Ohio is the second market the company has entered since being acquired in January by Path One Group, LLC, and the company is now active in seven markets. CEO Cami Boehme and CTO Kevin Manley have carved out an ambitious growth trajectory, with three additional markets in the licensing process: Pennsylvania, Illinois and Rhode Island.

Utiliz intends to serve switchers and non-switchers alike with a simple, streamlined process that will give current customers a better, faster more reliable way to benefit from energy choice and those who have never switched an easy way to be enrolled on the right plan. Customers can enroll quickly and easily by sending in a copy of their bill. Once enrolled, they receive monthly updates with plan details and lifetime savings. To date, Utiliz has saved consumers more than $430,000.
