OHL Foundation Raises $20,000 for Local Nashville Charity
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- OHL, a leading global third party logistics company (3PL), hosted its Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club in Franklin, TN. The tournament raised money for OHL's nonprofit organization the OHL Foundation, which works with organizations in the Greater Nashville Area focused on youth and education. Youth Villages, one of the OHL Foundation's sponsored charities, was the benefactor. Youth Villages works with emotionally and behaviorally troubled young people with a mission of helping children and families live successfully. Building on the success of the Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament, OHL Foundation presented a $20,000 check to Youth Villages, which will be used to support the 3 group homes operated by Youth Villages in the Nashville area.
Over 130 golfers from 12 different states turned out for the event. Players included OHL employees, OHL vendors, and sponsors. The tournament kicked off with a breakfast and included a full round of 18 holes sponsored by OHL Vendors and local companies. Throughout the course, there were a total of 6 contest holes and a putting contest, all sponsored by OHL Vendors and local companies.
