Effective with the January 2016 edition, Hart Energy announced the promotion of Steve Toon as Editor-in-Chief of the OGI franchise as Leslie Haines begins a new senior advisory role as Executive Editor-at-Large.
Editorial changes also include:
- expanded coverage of corporate mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector
- a redesigned and expanded section detailing oil and gas asset transactions
- a monthly A&D column
- highly accurate Rextag maps and rig count charts for the "Exploration Highlights" section
- an opening column from Toon and a closing column from Haines to bookend the magazine
