Oklahoma Strong: A Year's Journey for Local Business

OKLAHOMA CITY, March 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Downtown, better known as Bricktown by locals, has a birthday in its immediate future. After all this establishment has accomplished in one year by its local owner Ashley Gardner, it makes it hard to believe that it is only turning one. Pinot's Palette has a place among the locals' hearts.

It's where Ryan Anderson took a knee and proposed to his girlfriend Jenna, asking her to be his bride.

After tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma, dozens of people came together and painted Gardner's artists' painting Oklahoma Strong. Thus proving that you cannot keep OKC down! This painting went across the nation to several other studios, so that the whole country could paint it and participate with proceeds going to help rebuild the city. In creating the painting, Gardner says, "I was completely inspired by the resilience of the good people of our state. It was incredible how everyone came together as one to help, repair & rebuild. Actual tornado victims that lost everything attended the class and courageously painted "Oklahoma Strong". The empowerment of that class was just incredible!"

Fans of the hit TV series Cougar Town gathered together to create their own masterpieces inspired by the show, lots of beach scenes and wine glasses!

To celebrate on April 12^th, the studio is opening their doors at 115 E. California Avenue to anyone who wants to drop by and experience what Pinot's Palette is about. Paint. Drink. Have Fun. As their artist instructors will tell you, you only have to be doing two of those three actions to be having a good time!
