Old Bay/McCormick Spice, KoDee Cakes Bring Local Flavor to the AIRMALL at BWI Marshall this Summer

BALTIMORE, July 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Summer travelers looking to celebrate companies with Baltimore roots can now shop two local brands at the AIRMALL at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall). Old Bay/McCormick Spice and KoDee Cakes (both located in the AB food court) have opened kiosks that celebrate the food and flavors unique to Baltimore. Founded in Baltimore in 1889, Old Bay/McCormick Spice offers a variety of herbs, spices, and seasonings. With a location in Hampden, KoDee Cakes is known in Baltimore for beautifully handcrafted cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and tarts made from fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Old Bay/McCormick Spice strives to inspire people to try foods in new ways by incorporating spices and bold flavors into their cooking. At their airport kiosk this summer, travelers can purchase their world-famous blends of  herbs and spices, a wide variety of Old Bay snacks, and fun and unique Old Bay gifts such as T-shirts, mugs, glasses, crab mallets, keychains and other memorabilia.  The kiosk supports Old Bay's large "CAN-vert someone" campaign that has launched throughout the airport this summer.

KoDee Cakes offers an assortment of gourmet desserts, made using high quality and seasonal ingredients. In addition to sweet treats, including cupcakes, cookies and tarts, KoDee Cakes offers savory options, gluten-free, and vegan treats.

KoDee Cakes and Old Bay/McCormick Spice are open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
