Donna Miller has been appointed to serve as Olympus Corporation's Head of HQ Legal and Global General Counsel. She is being promoted to this global position from her current role of General Counsel of Olympus Corporation of the Americas (OCA). Miller will report to Mr. Kiichi Hirata, Chief Administrative Officer at the corporation's headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. She will continue to serve as General Counsel for OCA, initially dividing her time evenly between her current and new positions. She will be supported by the global headquarters and regional legal departments to manage the global and regional responsibilities respectively. Miller joined Olympus in 2006. She delivers value and expertise to the company with her knowledge and experience in various areas of the law. She graduated cum laude with her J.D. from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia and received her undergraduate degree from Alvernia College. She lives with her husband in Allentown, PA and has two adult sons.
Caroline West has been appointed to Olympus Corporation's Global Chief Compliance Officer. She is promoted to this global position from her current role of Chief Compliance Officer of OCA. She will report to Hiro Sasa, President and Representative Director of Olympus Corporation. West will manage a staff in Tokyo and the company's regional compliance departments to continue to enhance the company's global compliance programs. She draws upon a deep experience in the biopharmaceutical and device compliance space, where she built and led global compliance programs. West received her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Smith College. She lives with her husband in Philadelphia, PA and has an adult daughter and son.
