LOS ANGELES, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Omelet (omeletla.com), the seven-year-old creative shop based in Los Angeles, today announced that agency co-founder, Steven Amato, will assume the role of President, Omelet and Chief Content Officer of Omelet Studio - a newly formed division focused on the creation and distribution of original and acquired entertainment-based intellectual property. Under this new structure, Amato will report to Don Kurz (Chairman & CEO) and serve on the board with Kurz and agency co-founder Ryan Fey.

Before co-founding Omelet in 2004, Amato served as a creative leader at TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles. Throughout his career, Steven has been at the forefront of the ever-evolving marketing landscape and has continued to innovate the worlds of marketing and entertainment. When not creating new models and ground-breaking work, he finds time to write and produce original content ranging from short films to stage plays.
Steven is a frequent speaker and moderator at NATPE, CES, NAB, SXSW, NYTF and was recently invited by the White House's Chief Technology Officer to brainstorm ideas on how best to defend the nation against cyber terrorism. He lives in LA with his wife Maria and his two boys Hadley and Wilder.
