Guests visiting Omni properties are invited to a complimentary ice cream social celebrating National Ice Cream Day, complete with a Design-Your-Own Sundae Bar, on Tuesday, July 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. Through a partnership with Haagen-Dazs, the luxury hotel brand will serve flavorful vanilla and chocolate ice cream along with a mix of traditional and uniquely local toppings at select properties, such as Orange Blossom Farms Cantaloupe Relish and Charred Texas Peach Preserves from McCaskey Orchards at the Omni La Mansion del Rio (San Antonio), Boston cream pie push-up pops at the Omni Parker House (Boston) and chipotle hot fudge at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas (Dallas).
In addition to ice cream sundaes, Omni will serve cocktail samples from their unique summer drink menu, The Art of Water. The menu features elements from nationally recognized mixologist Kim Haasarud of Liquid Architecture, who developed the regionally-inspired cocktails exclusively for Omni Hotels & Resorts. The four geographically-inspired cocktail menus appeal to the different flavors in the Northeast, Southeast, Texas and West.
