ONE Cannabis Appoints Seasoned Franchise Executive, Mike Weinberger to COO

With nearly two decades of franchise experience, Weinberger is known throughout the industry for growing nationally recognized brands. As COO of ONE Cannabis, he is responsible for leading all franchise-related efforts and overseeing day-to-day operations of the Company.

Weinberger spent the past eight years at Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies, a global franchise with more than 450 units. He initially joined Maui Wowi as General Counsel and was appointed to CEO in 2013. A few years later, he led the successful sale of the brand to Kahala Brands – subsidiary of MTY Food Group, a global leader in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry with a portfolio of 77 QSR brands and approximately 5,500 locations in 34 countries. Upon acquisition, he remained committed to growing Maui Wowi as Brand President, and also served as the Vice President of Franchise Development, overseeing Kahala Brands' nontraditional portfolio and growth strategies.

Weinberger is also the founder and principal of Becheart Consulting, which specializes in aiding emerging franchise concepts. His legal practice areas include franchise and real estate law with a focus on providing legal support to start-ups and small business owners. He graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2004.
