ONE Launches the "One App that Could Change the World" in the Apple App Store

A free mass-market app designed exclusively for advocacy, the ONE App brings together the latest activism tools in a powerful mobile platform. Built in partnership with @radical.media, the ONE App's unique design and functionality make it the modern way for people to get the facts, get connected and create change in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease.

With more than 2.5 million members around the world, ONE raises awareness about the crisis of extreme poverty and advocates for effective programs that are delivering real results. The organization does not ask people for their money, it asks them for their voice. The ONE App provides a new, contemporary way for people to connect and use their voices to persuade political leaders to support poverty-fighting projects that are saving lives and building sustainable futures – for less than 1% of the U.S. budget.

By 2014, mobile internet is expected to surpass desktop internet usage, and advocacy is following this trend. The ONE App takes advocacy to the next level by offering a unique set of features to bring actions – such as signing a petition or calling a member of Congress – to a user's mobile device.  Specifically the ONE App allows iPhone users to:
