The title was the 30th official league championship in the club's history. The team also reached the semi-finals in 2013–14 UEFA Europa League competition. For 2014–15, Juventus won its 31st – and fourth consecutive -- scudetto, and its 10th Coppa Italia (Italian Cup). The team also defeated Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League, later going down in the final to Barcelona.
