BidKind's auctions use a traditional English auction mechanism in which the highest bidder wins, and many auctions also feature a "Buy Now" option, in which one user can donate the entire asking amount to secure the experience.

For its official launch, BidKind has curated ten experiences that will open for auction at 10AM EDT today, Thursday, March 12. Auctions will run between three and five weeks. A highlight of the official launch auctions includes one lucky winner and a guest meeting "Fast & Furious 7" star Michelle Rodriguez to go exotic car racing. Bidding will open at $2,000, with funds raised benefiting amfAR. Another auction highlight is a private yoga lesson with style icon Olivia Palermo taught by Victoria's Secret supermodel Maryna Linchuk in New York City. Users can choose to bid on the auction opening at $750, or one user can donate $7,500 to secure the experience, which will benefit ADCAM, a Spanish and American nonprofit dedicated to developing cooperation projects and social responsibility initiatives.
