This data was gathered from the most recent and publicly available sources, including the National Center for Education Statistics, PayScale's 2016-2017 College Salary Report, US News and World Report's Online MBA Ranking, the Princeton Review's Online MBA Ranking, the Financial Times' Global Online MBA Ranking, and Quacquarelli Symonds' Distance Online MBA Ranking. All data was gathered for each online MBA program, weighted equally at 25%, and then was averaged to find the ranking order for the top online MBA programs in sports management.
Placing first in this ranking is University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management in Amherst, Massachusetts. Florida Atlantic University's College of Business in Boca Raton, Florida, placed second in this ranking, and Southern New Hampshire University School of Business in Manchester, New Hampshire, placed third.
