ONPATH Technologies Announces its 2012 Board of Directors

MARLTON, N.J., June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ONPATH Technologies, the leader in scalable connectivity and monitoring solutions for high performance networks, today announced that it has seated its Board of Directors for the company's Fiscal Year 2012, and is publicly announcing its Board structure for the first time.

Thomas A. (Tom) Corcoran will continue to serve as ONPATH's Chairman for the second year. Mr. Corcoran is a senior advisor to the Carlyle Group, one of the world's largest private equity firms. He is also president of Corcoran Enterprises, LLC, a private management-consulting firm. Mr. Corcoran brings to the Board considerable industry knowledge gained from extensive experience as a senior executive for over 30 years with such companies as General Electric, Lockheed Martin/Martin Marietta, Allegheny Teledyne Inc. and Gemini Air Cargo (a Carlyle company). He also brings significant company board experience, including currently serving as a director for four publicly listed companies: L-3 Communications, LaBarge, GenCorp and Force Protection. Additionally he is also a director of ARINC, Inc. (a Carlyle company) and Proxy Aviation, a privately held company.

Brian McCann:

Mr. McCann also serves as ONPATH's Chief Executive Officer and has been on the Board since his appointment in 2010. He was formerly the founding president of the US Division of ADVA Optical Networking and a global Officer. Mr. McCann started his career in progressive leadership roles at 3M Corp., and brings with him considerable experience in fast-growth, high-technology, global business.

Jim Huston:

A founding ONPATH Board member, Mr. Huston is managing director with Blueprint Ventures, a company that has invested in ONPATH, and Managing Director of Portland Seed Fund. Mr. Huston brings over 20 years of industry experience, having worked at and invested in early stage technology companies worldwide. He has extensive experience with corporate IP spinouts from both the corporate and venture capital perspectives. He is the Secretary / Treasurer of the Board of Oregon Public Broadcasting.

Oded Wiess:

Mr. Weiss is a founding ONPATH Board member and serves on its Audit Committee. He is a partner and CFO of L Capital Partners, a company that has invested in ONPATH. Mr. Weiss is also a member of the Boards and Audit Committees of Aquarius Technologies Inc., Simparel Inc., WiSpry Inc. and Proxy Aviation Systems. Mr. Weiss brings over 15 years of financial management experience with a focus on small and medium size businesses. In the last 10 years, Mr. Weiss has participated in many early and development stage investments and worked closely with the founders of the new companies to build them.

Michael Frendo:

A founding ONPATH Board Member and currently serving as senior vice president of architecture for Infinera, Mr. Frendo leads the technology strategy and the implementation of current and long-term architectural direction for the company. Having held senior general management, architectural, and engineering roles with such leading companies as Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, McData (now Brocade), and Avaya, he brings to the Board great insight in technology, product strategy, direction, and engineering.
