The typewriter features the Oscar-winner's personal signature and includes a never-before-seen note—signed, sealed and written by the screen legend on this very machine. Hanks, a typewriter enthusiast began his typewriter collection in the 1970s. His affection for typewriters evolved into the creation of the Hanx Writer app, which has the vintage feel of manual typewriters, including the nostalgic ding at the end of a line.
