Operation HOPE Founder John Hope Bryant Joins Chelsea Clinton on Stage in Marrakech for Clinton Global Initiative Middle East & Africa Meeting

LOS ANGELES, May 12, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman and CEO John Hope Bryant joined Chelsea Clinton Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation on stage, to discuss infrastructure challenges for cities.  This meeting marks the first CGI Regional Meeting for the Middle East & Africa, taking place in Marrakech, Morocco. 

As a founding member of the Clinton Global Initiative, Bryant highlighted HOPE's work in South Africa, specifically through its partnership with the Peace Corps. Signed in 2008, Operation HOPE has been providing financial literacy curriculum for volunteers to use in the urban and rural areas. The partnership also helped produce the new curriculum, revised to suit the needs of adult residents in rural parts of the country.  

Operation HOPE South Africa continues to educate and inspire youth and adults in the provinces of Gauteng, Western Cape, Limpopo, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, KwaZulu/Natal and the Northwest Province by promoting entrepreneurship, job creation, and economic empowerment though Banking on Our Future and HOPE Business In A Box Academies. Since HOPE South Africa launched in 2007, more than 49,000 youth and adults nationwide have been reached.
