Oprah's Former Chef Art Smith's Wedding Rings Designed By Natalie Frigo

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Two-time James Beard Award winning, Top Chef Masters finalist, and Oprah's former personal chef, Art Smith married artist Jesus Salgueiro on August 21st, in an elaborate ceremony and reception featuring the work of 14 renowned chefs. For their wedding rings, the two chose matching bands from the new wedding collection by jewelry designer Natalie Frigo. The artist's work is described as "a modern interpretation of ancient treasures", and fashions her pieces exclusively in reclaimed casted metal and conflict free stones.

New York-based Frigo is an award winning fine artist and launched her first jewelry line in December of 2009.

There were over 450 guests in attendance, with the celebration closing at the pool of the Liason hotel.

Rather than accepting gifts, the couple raised money for their charity, Common Threads. Catch Chef Smith this fall judging 'BBQ Pit Masters', Thursdays at 10 pm on TLC.
