OpsLab Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract to Extend Air Operations Optimization Services
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- OpsLab, a leader in optimizing air operations, tasking, and airspace for military flying squadrons, announced today that it has been awarded a follow-on contract from the U.S. Air Force to extend its services at critical flying squadrons. The contract represents the company's 12th award from the USAF, and confirms the continued implementation and service of OpsLab's marquee product, SkySchedule, at mission-critical squadrons.
Under the terms of the contract, OpsLab will maintain and expand its automated squadron operations platform at the selected squadrons, ensuring pilots continue to benefit from the significant operational efficiencies that SkySchedule provides. The platform has been proven to save more than 200 aircrew hours per squadron per month, directly improving mission readiness and operational effectiveness.
"We are grateful for the U.S. Air Force's continued commitment to innovation and game-changing software services," said Andrew Thompson, VP of Customer Success of OpsLab. "The Air Force remains a world leader in implementing cutting-edge military solutions, and this follow-on contract demonstrates their dedication to providing warfighters with the most advanced operational tools available."
OpsLab praised AFWERX, the innovation arm of the U.S. Air Force, for being a key champion in facilitating both previous contracts and this latest award. AFWERX has been instrumental in helping companies like OpsLab gain implementation momentum across the Air Force through programs like TACFI (Tactical Funding Increase) and SBIR Phase III contracts.
SkySchedule integrates seamlessly with existing Air Force systems, including the Envision readiness system, ensuring interoperability within established military infrastructure. The platform's ability to predict operational readiness deficits provides commanders with unprecedented situational awareness for go-no-go decisions and combat mission planning.
