Optima Partners Appoints Top Compliance Expert as Director at London Office

LONDON, Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Optima Partners, a leading global regulatory compliance and risk management firm, today announced that top compliance expert Danny Sims has joined the firm as Director at its London office.

Mr. Sims brings more than a decade of experience in providing compliance and regulatory consulting services to firms in the U.K, and elsewhere across Europe. In his new position, he will be responsible for enhancing client relationships and building the firm's market share in this region.

Prior to joining Optima, Mr. Sims served as the Chief Compliance Officer of an investment firm with $6 billion AUM, where he was responsible for all of its related regulatory matters.

Earlier, he was a Senior Principal Consultant at ACA Compliance Group in London, where he provided compliance solutions to a wide range of clients including investment and commodity trading advisors and private fund managers. 

Mr. Sims was also a Compliance Officer for an international private markets investment group which now has $78 billion AUM, and a consultant for London-based Complyport, a compliance and regulatory consultancy.
