Options Group Announces that Bob Flohr has joined as Senior Advisor
NEW YORK, Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Options Group, a leading talent acquisition and management consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Bob Flohr has agreed to become Senior Advisor. He will provide senior relationship management for the firm's key global accounts and assist in the continued development of the firm's intelligence-based products and services. Additionally, he will lead in the development of a Board of Directors advisory practice. Bob has been affiliated with Options Group for over 15 years in a variety of roles, including a period as Chairman.
Previously, Bob was based in London and served as Senior Advisor and partner for a global executive search firm and was a member of its Global Financial Institutions practice. Prior to that, Bob was an advisor to the boards of three major banks, consulting on issues related to corporate restructuring and integration, strategic planning, business growth, management development, succession planning, leadership and change management. He has also assisted an investment firm focused on financial services to improve the performance of a portfolio company and assisted in the restructuring of an important Middle Eastern regional bank.
Bob's prior executive search experience includes a number of years at another global executive search firm, where he was the head of the Financial Services Practice for Europe. He was also responsible for coordinating the global coverage and client service for investment banks and asset management firms. Bob began his consulting career at McKinsey & Company, where he spent almost six years.
Bob currently serves as Vice Chairman of Clarien Group, a bank holding company based in Bermuda. He is a graduate of Princeton University and, early in his career, spent four years as an Assistant Dean of Admissions and Academic Advisor at the University.
