ORANGE COUNTY'S OSEN HOSPITALITY GROUP WILL BRING TWO NEW DINING CONCEPTS TO OCVIBE

Led by Chef Damon Cho, Osen Will Introduce a Japanese Handroll Bar in the Katella Commons Market Hall and Open a Full-service Restaurant in OCVIBE's Urban Park

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- OCVIBE, the 100-acre mixed-use development surrounding Honda Center in Orange County, today announced that Osen Hospitality Group, led by Chef Damon Cho, will open two new dining concepts in the neighborhood next year. Osen Urban Table restaurant will open in the district's Urban Park, and Osen Handroll will open in Katella Commons, OCVIBE's 50,000-square-foot, two-story market hall.

Two Exciting New Concepts from Osen Hospitality Group

As the first culinary partner to open concepts both inside Katella Commons and as a standalone restaurant at OCVIBE, Osen Hospitality Group will introduce two original dining experiences, each offering a distinct take on the food and hospitality that have defined its flagship, Izakaya Osen. Designed for different dining occasions, both will share the same commitment to quality, craft, and the exceptional ingredients Orange County diners have come to know and appreciate.

• Osen Urban Table at OCVIBE: A standalone restaurant that refines the DNA of the flagship Izakaya Osen into a more focused, highly approachable, and effortlessly casual environment. Designed to transition naturally from lunch to dinner, it feels appropriate at any hour and for any occasion.
   
• Osen Handroll at Katella Commons: An original handroll bar concept designed for the fast, social, and immediate energy of OCVIBE. Perfect for a quick bite before a game or a performance, it brings a fresh interpretation to the handroll experience with thoughtful food and unexpected details.

A Gathering Place Shaped by Culture and Community

Osen Hospitality Group joins a growing collection of chefs, restaurants, and culinary concepts taking shape across OCVIBE.

At Katella Commons, the lineup includes Danielle Duran Zecca and Alessandro Zecca of Amiga Amore; Alberto Bañuelos of Burritos La Palma; Alex "Pobre Diablo" Garcia and Elvia "La Bruja" Huerta of Evil Cooks; Kanate Ungkasrithongkul and Anita Lin of Manaao Thai Comfort Food; Don Churros Gomez; MFK | Modern Filipino Kitchen; Mojo and Pull & Roll; Gelato Paradiso; and Chef Zach Scherer of DARKROOM Restaurant and Wine Bar, who will introduce two concepts, OC Pizza Cult and Wanderfowl.

Beyond Katella Commons, OCVIBE has announced that Chef Roy Choi will open a Best Friend restaurant as part of the district's broader collection of standalone restaurants

The growing lineup of culinary partners reflects OCVIBE's approach to dining: pairing celebrated culinary voices with distinctive local talent and creating a mix of experiences unique to the district. As more restaurants and chefs are announced, the collection will continue to expand the range of cuisines coming to Anaheim, helping establish OCVIBE as a new culinary destination for Southern California.

OCVIBE will begin welcoming guests in March 2027 with the opening of the district's 5,000-person capacity concert hall, followed shortly thereafter by Katella Commons, The Weave office building, the first phase of OCVIBE's parks and public art program, and restaurants at the end of the year.
