En Vivo, taking place on January 1 from 8 pm to 11 pm will bring together the diverse Hispanic community of South Florida for a concert filled with live entertainment and Latin cuisine.
Gilberto Santa Rosa, also referred to as "el caballero de la salsa" (the gentleman of salsa), is nationally and internationally known as one of the most distinguishable salsa performers. Winner of the recent 11th annual Latin Grammy Award for Best Salsa Album, he is known to tropical music fans as an impressive sonero (improvisation) musician who has acquired worldwide recognition. His music has become the bridge between two eras of the salsa genre enabling him to produce genuine and romantic styles of music. Being recognized for his unique interpretation of salsa romantica has allowed Gilberto to define the future of salsa.
