AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ordoro, the leading shipping and inventory management ecommerce app, has integrated with payment processing giant Stripe to bolster ecommerce merchants' moves towards non-traditional, more contextual forms of selling.
Following Twitter's partnership with Relay, Stripe's mobile in-app buy button service, retailers are able to sell products on their Twitter accounts inside the social media site's mobile app. With mobile accounting for a large percentage of retailers' traffic, in many cases surpassing any other source, it's swiftly becoming a valuable sales channel.
Ordoro's new integration allows customers to link any Relay connected storefront with their Ordoro account to keep their entire business aligned. When a merchant's customer buys via a Stripe provided "buy" button, Ordoro will collect and organize all the order information like any other sales channel.
Given Stripe's recent collaboration with Twitter, plus other pushes towards ecommerce by social networking platforms, the next frontier of ecommerce seems to be a contextual one - one where consumers can purchase in whatever context they're in, whether it's mobile browsing or social media.
And as the ecommerce industry continues expanding and evolving in tandem with mobile device adoption, multichannel retailers increasingly find themselves tapping into non-traditional, more mobile channels to sell on. Ordoro is committed to integrating with all channels from Amazon to WooCommerce; mobile and social channels are no exception.
"Supporting multichannel e-retailers means supporting any medium merchants sell on," says Jagath Narayan, CEO of Ordoro. "As platforms like Facebook and Twitter make the move toward ecommerce, we're prepared to expand our app to support those channels."
Ordoro is an ecommerce software app tackling the unsexy but essential function of supply chain and order management. With an open API and integrations with all major marketplaces and shopping-cart platforms, Ordoro helps merchants streamline their shipping and inventory management across all their sales channels so they can focus on growing their business, rather than maintaining it. Ordoro offers tools to monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relations, bundle products and reduce shipping costs.
