Ordoro Integrates with Stripe's Relay
Partnership spearheads a move towards contextual ecommerce
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ordoro, the leading shipping and inventory management ecommerce app, has integrated with payment processing giant Stripe to bolster ecommerce merchants' moves towards non-traditional, more contextual forms of selling.
Following Twitter's partnership with Relay, Stripe's mobile in-app buy button service, retailers are able to sell products on their Twitter accounts inside the social media site's mobile app. With mobile accounting for a large percentage of retailers' traffic, in many cases surpassing any other source, it's swiftly becoming a valuable sales channel.
Ordoro's new integration allows customers to link any Relay connected storefront with their Ordoro account to keep their entire business aligned. When a merchant's customer buys via a Stripe provided "buy" button, Ordoro will collect and organize all the order information like any other sales channel.
Given Stripe's recent collaboration with Twitter, plus other pushes towards ecommerce by social networking platforms, the next frontier of ecommerce seems to be a contextual one - one where consumers can purchase in whatever context they're in, whether it's mobile browsing or social media.
