Organize, Search & Share All Your Photos in a Flash with Free PhotoTime Smart Photo Management App
PhotoTime Ends Picture Clutter with Smart Organization through Built-in Image & Facial Recognition; Automatically Tag, Sort & Search Every Photo on Your Phone, Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox & More
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Say goodbye to endlessly swiping through hundreds of photos on your smartphone to find the one you need. Introducing PhotoTime, the new real-time, smart photo management app that automatically organizes, sorts and tags all of your photos to make it fast and easy to find the one you want, when you want it.
For each photo, PhotoTime automatically recognizes who, what, when and where each photo is taken, using image and facial recognition technology to instantly generate keyword tags. PhotoTime users can then use these keywords to search their entire photo collection on the device and on connected social networks and cloud services like Facebook, Instagram, iCloud and soon Dropbox, to find every photo with that tag. PhotoTime also makes sharing photos smarter and faster, too. Simply search for the name, event, location or other keyword desired and share the entire search result with friends—no more manually scrolling between albums and individually selecting each photo. Users can even create bookmarks to quickly access favorite collections—and favorite memories—by tapping the bookmark icon.
"Our photos are a precious tapestry of our lives—the moments, people and experiences that define us—and they deserve to be treasured and enjoyed in a meaningful way," said Yi Li, CEO with PhotoTime. "But, just as smartphones have made capturing those memories so much easier, they've also made organizing the fast-growing number and variety of photos much more difficult. Now our photos are scattered across devices and social networks, making it hard to find and revisit those precious memories."
While photography has changed dramatically from the days of printing photos from rolls of film, we're still just throwing pictures into the proverbial shoebox, so to speak, and promising ourselves we'll organize them into beautiful albums someday. But, that day never comes, and we keep adding more photos, making it impossible to keep up.
"PhotoTime solves that problem by making it easier to manage, organize and enjoy all of our images without having to manually tag, sort and catalog each one," Yi Li said.
In fact, Yahoo estimated that some 880 billion photographs would be taken this year, and more than 20 billion photos have been shared on Instagram alone. Finding and keeping all of these images organized is a time-consuming chore.
But with PhotoTime, finding pictures of friends and other memories has never been easier. Built-in advanced facial recognition technology automatically groups faces that are likely to be the same person together, allowing users to assign a name and turn it into a searchable keyword. To search, users can simply type in the person's name. With Facebook connected, users' Facebook friends' names are assigned to their groups automatically. The more you use PhotoTime, the smarter it becomes—PhotoTime's learning technology recognizes and groups similar faces in new photos based on every tag. For example, if your friend Emily is tagged in a photo, PhotoTime will recognize Emily's face in future photos taken, and automatically add the photo into Emily's group.
PhotoTime's bookmarking feature takes the photo album as we know it to a whole new—and much smarter—level. To bookmark a group of photos, users simply tap the bookmark icon and PhotoTime organizes these images around common keywords or keyword combinations. When new photos are taken, PhotoTime automatically recognizes the content, generates appropriate tags and adds the new photos to the corresponding bookmarks. For example, if a user bookmarks photos with "dog" and "beach" as keywords, PhotoTime will automatically add new photos containing "dog" or "beach" to that bookmark.
With this automated system, users no long have to manually create or update albums, nor upload or move photos between albums. PhotoTime does it all for you, making it faster and easier to organize and enjoy your favorite memories.
PhotoTime is available now for iPhone in the Apple App Store, with additional social and cloud service integration to be added soon. To get started or learn more about the free PhotoTime app, go to www.phototime.com.
