Orion Advisor Services Announces Inaugural Ascent 2017 Conference

OMAHA, Neb., May 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Orion Advisor Services, LLC ("Orion"), the premier portfolio accounting service provider for advisors, announced it is hosting the first ever Ascent conference, which provides advisors with industry education, networking and training on the Orion platform. The conference is open to all 1,000 plus Orion advisor clients and will take place September 18-20, 2017 in Scottsdale, Arizona. True to its name, the conference is highlighted by keynote speaker, Hilaree O'Neill. O'Neill is the first woman to summit Mt. Everest and its neighbor peak Lhotse (fourth highest mountain in the world) in a 24-hour period. She is also a former World Extreme Ski Champion, an expedition leader, Ironman triathlete and ultramarathon runner. O'Neill is truly a modern day adventurer in every sense of the word.  

The Ascent conference will provide a collaborative learning experience, centered on strengthening the partner relationship. Advisory teams will have the opportunity to learn and understand the Orion platform and have access to Orion Subject Matter Experts. The training sessions will focus on the core areas of advisor's business, including performance reporting, billing, trading, integrations, new account processing and compliance. In addition, Orion's Ascent conference has a specific learning trail for an advisory firm's IT development staff supporting customized development offerings on top of Orion's API suite. 

Multiple conference 'Learning Trails' will help attendees to maximize their time at Ascent. Each Learning Trail will provide attendees with the opportunity to become well-versed in implementing key Orion value-adds to improve the advisor-client experience. Attendees can also personalize Learning Trails by selecting various learning sessions based on their interest, and each attendee has the opportunity to become Orion Ascent Certified after completing certain Trails, which will help advisory teams to:
