OMAHA, Neb., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Orion Advisor Services, LLC, a premier portfolio accounting service provider founded by and for Registered Investment Advisors, announced today that an independent Service Auditor has completed a Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16  (SSAE 16) service organization attestation report of its operational controls process.  This report aids Orion's customer auditors in conducting their financial statement audits as well as aids in the due diligence process for prospective clients. The report, formerly known as a SAS No. 70 Type II, was designed to provide an independent opinion as to the effectiveness of Orion's operational controls.
