Orion Restructures Sales Team and Appoints Ryan Donovan as VP of Business Development

OMAHA, Neb., July 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Orion Advisor Services, LLC ("Orion") has announced the restructuring of its Sales Team to expand its national presence in the investment advisory industry. As part of its growth initiative, Orion has added Ryan Donovan as Vice President of Business Development for the Northeast region of the United States.

Previously based out of the company's centrally located Omaha office, Orion's Sales Team has moved into regional locations to be more accessible to the advisors that Orion serves throughout the country.

In addition to Mr. Donovan's presence in the Northeast, Orion's other sales representatives will be based out of the following locations: George Svagera will serve the Western and Southwestern regions, Todd Bertucci will empower advisors in the Midwest and Joel Hurst will head up efforts in the Southeast.

Mr. Donovan joins Orion after spending more than 10 years at Citigroup, where he began as an Analyst before becoming a Vice President within the firm's Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Donovan served as a trusted advisor for senior executives across a diverse range of financial institutions, including investment advisors and wealth managers. Mr. Donovan successfully developed front-, middle- and back-office solutions addressing the challenges facing investment advisors in the ever-changing financial services landscape. 

Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Donovan began his career working at Fischer Francis Trees & Watts ("FFTW"), a fixed income investment advisor based in New York. While at FFTW, Mr. Donovan led the operational design, testing and deployment of an institutional order management system, trade administration dashboard and global accounting platform.
