ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Pole Dancing isn't just for strippers anymore. The information isn't news to the owners of Vixen Fitness (http://www.vixenfitnessonline.com). Membership has soared in two years. Concentrating on Sexy Fitness, the start-up company's owners realized that there was a need for an outlet that let ladies feel sexy while getting in shape. "We know women of all shapes and sizes like to have fun, want to feel good about themselves and need motivation, so we created Vixen," said Jan Lazarus. Started in 2008, Vixen Fitness began offering Pole Dancing, Chair Dancing, Bellydance, Hula Hoop, Yoga, Fab Abs & Bodacious Butts, only to name a few of their classes. Adding Bachelorette, Birthday and Divorce Parties, with Pole Dancing as the main event, has had the phones at Vixen Fitness ringing. With scandalous class names as part of the intrigue, women in Orlando came pouring into the facility.
Opening in mid-December will be Vixen's flagship store, a fitness facility that is more like a nightclub. Complete with glitter floors, music and disco lights, ladies will be in a workout paradise. The new facility, located close to Universal Studios, will be adding Aerial Yoga and Spin classes to the already extensive class list. Catering to Ladies only, Vixen Fitness has cornered the alternative fitness market and is set to expand. The new facility is large and the space is divided between a pole dance room, spinning room, cardio room, bar, boutique and more fun than ladies have seen in fitness for a very long time.
