OTTO Announces 'Draw Outside of the Box,' Winning Design To Appear on Pizza Boxes Throughout New England

PORTLAND, Maine, Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Pizza restaurant group, OTTO, announced its 'Draw Outside of the Box' design contest, giving students K-8 the opportunity to have their design featured on OTTO's pizza boxes, and to win $1000 for their school's art education needs. The initiative is designed to promote art education in schools, and to connect kids & community through art and design.

The contest, which runs from Sept. 18 to Dec. 18, is open to K-8 students throughout New England, providing each student the opportunity to share their designs with their communities, and with OTTO fans worldwide.

Over three months, the public will 'vote' for their favorite entries by 'liking' the designs on OTTO's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ottoportland). The 30 designs with the most 'Likes' will then be judged by a panel of esteemed design experts (including Scott Nash, illustrator of Flat Stanley!). First, second, and third prizes will be awarded by the panel.

The winning student's design will be professionally printed on thousands of OTTO pizza boxes in multiple locations throughout New England, and the winner's school will receive $1000 to support art education.  Many other prizes are to be rewarded.
