LOS ANGELES, April 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center, one of the most respected non-profit grief centers in the nation, will host its Annual Run for Hope on April 27th at the West Los Angeles Civic Center. OUR HOUSE's spokesperson, Melissa Rivers, and Los Angeles City Councilmember Mike Bonin of the 11th District will serve in key roles during the event.
One unique element of Run for Hope is attendees wear personalized T-shirts with their loved ones' photos. At 9 a.m., the 5K & Fun Run begins and is followed by the closing ceremony and festival at 10 a.m. The lively festival includes food trucks, music, magicians, face painting and expo booths.
