Our Rescue Launches Operation Global Impact 2025: A Six-Week International Surge Against Human Trafficking

Coordinated operations with law enforcement span 10 countries to rescue survivors and dismantle trafficking networks

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Our Rescue announces the launch of Operation Global Impact 2025, a six-week coordinated international surge against sex trafficking and child exploitation across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Teams are already deployed, with 13 law enforcement actions now complete in Latin America and 5 in Asia, resulting in 26 arrests and the rescue of 17 children. But actions continue with more coordinated law enforcement actions planned in the coming weeks as part of Operation Global Impact 2025 with support from Our Rescue to maximize impact.

A New Surge Model for Global Impact

Unlike isolated, one-off operations, Operation Global Impact 2025 leverages a Surge Operation model—a concentrated, time-bound effort designed to maximize impact and reach as many survivors as possible.

How Our Rescue supports law enforcement and aligned partners may look different in each country, but some examples are:

• Assisting Investigators with Critical Equipment & Technology to maximize impact.
• Case Support before, during, and after operations to secure prosecutions.
• On-the-Ground Logistical Support including technology, training, and operational assistance.
• Trauma-Informed Survivor Care, ensuring immediate and ongoing support for survivors.
• Specialized ESD K9 Units, Samai and Winner, assisting in investigative and rescue efforts in Latin America and Asia.

This surge comes on the heels of a successful domestic operation with the Interstate Justice Coalition, where survivors were rescued and critical investigations strengthened. These collaborations underscore the power of uniting global partners to accelerate the fight against trafficking.
