Outdoor Channel honors the network's most notable talent and production teams at the invitation-only 14th Annual Golden Moose Awards. This year's signature event will be hosted by Michael Waddell of Outdoor Channel's "Realtree Road Trips" and "Bone Collector." It will include special musical performances by Ted Nugent of Outdoor Channel's "Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild," Aaron Lewis, Craig Morgan of the network's "Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors", and country music newcomer Colton James.
More than 20 accolades will be presented at the ceremony, including the Top Five Fan Favorite voted by loyal viewers of the network. Outdoor Channel also plans to give an honorary Golden Moose Award for Lifetime Achievement to a surprise recipient.
Among the Golden Moose Awards presenters are Joe Mantegna of "MidwayUSA's Gun Stories"; Willie Robertson of "Buck Commander"; Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Jon Lester; former NBA player Jared Jeffries of "Modern Fishing with Jared Jeffries"; NASCAR racing crew chief Greg Zipadelli of "Greg Zipadelli's Drop Zone"; RAM Trucks' Brian Szalk; and Theresa Vail, a Sergeant in the Kansas Army National Guard, a 2013 Miss Kansas winner, a 2014 Miss America top ten finalist and an avid bowhunter.
