Outdoor Channel will be previewing its brand new documentary, "Safe Haven: Gun-Free Zones in America." The 45-minute original film, which is hosted by Townhall news editor, FOX News contributor and New York Times best-selling author, Katie Pavlich, looks at the history of gun-free zones and the effect on crime prevention through interviews with law enforcement, survivors and other experts. Outdoor Channel's CEO and President Jim Liberatore will take the stage for opening remarks, and both Liberatore and Pavlich will host a Q&A following the special sneak preview.

For the first time, Outdoor Channel will be participating in Sportsman Channel's Hunt.Fish.Feed. event at the Salvation Army in Las Vegas, which will feature an appearance by former Governor of Alaska and star of Sportsman Channel's "Amazing America with Sarah Palin," Sarah Palin. The initiative, which involves local hunters donating game meat to those who are less fortunate, was founded in 2007. Outdoor Channel honors the network's most notable talent and production teams at the invitation-only 15th Annual Golden Moose Awards. This year's signature event will be hosted by Michael Waddell of Outdoor Channel's "Realtree Road Trips with Michael Waddell" and "Michael Waddell's Bone Collector." It will include special musical performances by Ted Nugent of Outdoor Channel's "Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild"; Kari & Billy, the country music duo behind the "Drury's THIRTEEN" theme; and Nate Hosie from "Headhunters TV."
More than 15 accolades will be awarded at the ceremony, including the Fan Favorite Best Host/s as voted on by loyal viewers and an honorary Lifetime Achievement award to a surprise recipient.
