Outdoor Living Brands Names New Vice President & Overall Leader For Its Mosquito Squad Franchise Business

RICHMOND, Va., April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Living Brands has named Rob White to the position of vice president, Mosquito Squad. The announcement was made by Chris Grandpre, chairman & CEO of the firm.

Outdoor Living Brands is the nation's largest franchisor of outdoor lifestyle brands.  Its Mosquito Squad business specializes in eliminating mosquitoes, ticks and other outdoor pests so homeowners can enjoy their yards, outdoor events and outdoor living spaces.  With over 150 locations and more slated to open this spring, the company has been recognized as one of the country's fastest growing franchise concepts in 2013, 2012 and 2011 by INC. Magazine.

As vice president and leader of the Mosquito Squad division, White will oversee the team responsible for franchisee operational support and new franchise development, a role previously held by Boyd Huneycutt, co-founder of the Mosquito Squad concept.  Huneycutt will transition into a new role with the company focusing on coaching the existing base of franchisees and as an advisor on new product development and operations.

White previously served as president of The Dwyer Group's Rainbow International, a global franchise organization providing residential and commercial restoration and cleaning services in more than 400 locations worldwide.  He also owned and operated the Rainbow International franchise in Richmond, Va., before joining The Dwyer Group.  Earlier in his career, he held positions with Omni Services, AMF Bowling Worldwide and Pepsi-Cola Co.

In February, White earned the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation at the International Franchise Association's (IFA) Annual Convention in New Orleans. White holds a bachelor's degree of science in finance from Virginia Tech and a master's degree of business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
