OUTSIDER PICTURES Secures Six Picture Distribution Deal With Hestons' AGAMEMNON FILMS
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Nov. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- OUTSIDER PICTURES, the international sales and distribution company headed by Paul Hudson, has acquired distribution rights to six pictures from the Hestons' AGAMEMNON FILMS library:
THE SEARCH FOR MICHAEL ROCKEFELLER, the award-winning documentary about the disappearance of the Rockefeller scion in New Guinea, written and directed by Fraser C. Heston; PROUD MEN, a contemporary western starring Charlton Heston and Peter Strauss; the hugely successful A&E series CHARLTON HESTON PRESENTS THE BIBLE; the documentary CHARLTON HESTON AND BEN HUR, A PERSONAL JOURNEY, directed by Laurent Bouzereau and exec-produced by Fraser Heston, about the making of the epic film; and two films directed by Charlton Heston: the 1972 Shakespearean epic ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, starring Heston and Hildegard Neil; and MOTHER LODE, written and produced in 1981 by Fraser C. Heston, starring Charlton Heston, Nick Mancuso and Academy Award winner Kim Basinger.
Films have been digitally re-mastered and restored for HD TV, VOD, digital download, and DVD release.

In 1961, Rockefeller's trading canoe capsized off New Guinea's cannibal coast. Michael swam for shore, with the fateful words: 'I think I can make it…' He was never seen again. Or was he? In 2007, Fraser C. Heston discovered a lost cache of unedited footage shot by Milt Machlin (author of The Search for Michael Rockefeller) during his 1969 expedition to New Guinea in search of Michael. The award-winning film includes unseen footage, eyewitness interviews, and startling revelations, which together solve the mystery of Michael's disappearance.
