Outspoken Breitling Oil and Gas Founder, Advocate Chris Faulkner Finalist for Multiple Oil & Gas Awards

DALLAS, Oct. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the oil and gas industry's most visible leaders, Chris Faulkner, and his company, Breitling Oil and Gas Corporation, have been named top finalists for several prestigious Oil & Gas Awards.  The iconic Faulkner, dubbed the "Frack Master" for his outspoken advocacy on behalf of the controversial extraction process, is a finalist for Industry Leader of the Year Award for the Southwest Region. Breitling Oil and Gas is a finalist in the categories of Exploration and Production and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Breitling earned company Oil & Gas Awards recognition as a finalist from a field of over 400 entries, recognizing outstanding achievements in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry.  Celebrating advances in environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility and health and safety, award winners will be announced Oct. 22 at a black-tie gala event in Fort Worth, TX.
